In the frame of IFAD-supported project “Strengthening knowledge management for greater development effectiveness in the Near East, North Africa, Central Asia and Europe” CIHEAM BARI, in collaboration with ICARDA, is organizing the “Writeshop to develop capacity building and innovation plans” from 17 to 18 June 2019 in Rabat, Morocco.
It will be hosted by IAV-Hassan II involving the national partners IAV, INRA, ONCA and ENA Meknès besides to a representative from the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Forest.
This project is led by the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) together with its international partners Virginia Tech, CIHEAM Bari, PROCASUR and national partners in Moldova, Morocco, Sudan.
The workshop will be held in presence of prof. Mohammed Sadiki, Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Forest (Morocco) and President of CIHEAM Governing Board.
Objective of the workshop is to improve the management of knowledge and the enhancement of the results of research and innovation of the scientific institutions participating in the project. Therefore, an innovation plan will be implemented through a participatory approach with each institution, taking into account their priorities and feasible changes, in order to valorize the knowledge created.
